Once again it’s that time of the year. The air is cold, the dresses are hot and the world has it’s eyes trained on New York for one of the biggest fashion events of the year. Starting today, February 11th, New York Fashion Week 2016 has officially begun!

The show will continue until February 18th, when the world shifts its fashion focus towards London for their fashion week starting February 19th. This year’s show is shaping up quite nicely, with several instances of celebrity involvement, both behind the curtain and on the runway.   The show is gaining a lot of positive word of mouth from consumers by having some collections available for purchase post show.

So far the most anticipated aspect of the event is whatever Kanye West has planned, even non-fashion oriented media outlets are waiting in anticipation for that show. His showcase is scheduled to coincide with West debuting his latest musical work, and is sure to generate a significant amount of buzz for Fashion Week.
